Here in Taranaki we seem to get alright speeds. So when/if it goes up, what speed you get will depend on cows to computers ratio Another thing to consider is the sheep to computer ratio. Apparently the more sheep that get helped through the fence in your area, the lower speeds you should expect. Wyndham, being near Gore, will get speeds way below par |

But before someone takes you seriously its got nothing to do with location or Gore for that matter. Being 400m from the exchange my router says 4288. Actual speed is a result of the lack of hardware in the exchnage and the new contention ratios. However Telecom is now working on it. |
