| 451856 | 2006-05-07 21:50:00 | Im sure you and the vast majority of Dell customers are quite happy with your purchases....But then so are Mcdonalds customers, Fed sh1t with a smile. Oh, what would we do without Metla's humour on this list?   Yep, many Dell customers are happy with their PCs. Warehouse $799 PCs as well. Hey, I had a Dell eons ago, a 400 Mhz Celeron. Even the local ISP techies who visited were impressed with the 17 in screen and 128 RAM (that was back in the early days when we knew each other by name). But after awhile, learning more about components and doing more and more with the Dell, I realised it was, as Metla puts it, sh1t. Well, not for 'normal' email, WP and web surfing, but I pushed on further than 'normal'. It all depends what you use a PC for, how demanding you are, how finicky and precise you are. My neighbours are content with their Harvey Norman HP PC but for me it would be a slow grind. |
