Although on principle I won't buy a Starforce game. While we're on the subject then Steam stuffs up your game too. HL2 runs a LOT better without it than with it. |

The incompatabilties can be between IDE drivers, mobo chipsets, CD Drive firm ware, and the hardware in the CD drives. In some cases permentant failure of the drive is reported,in many cases it the writing capabilitie of the drive is disabled. Obviosly its not happening to every single system, But to state that the PC is at fault because you have no issue is pure ignorance. |

But rather than StarForce in the way I prefer if anyone have suggestions run game without StarForce. I think that's probably impossible unless a programmer might able to do that. People are cracking up StarForce games by using their own programmes like GTR FIA Racing. A Greman version, but never use it since mine is English version, it works fine. But there's no StarForce crack for other games yet like L.A. Rush. Anyone know how to modified it here? |

By asking how to bypass a games anti-piracy protection, no matter for what reason and regardless whether you actually own a legal copy of the game, is crossing the fine line with getting help with a technical game issue vs illegal activity. PressF1 is not the place for this sort of discussion. Please respect that. | Jen (38) | ||
