| 451942 | 2006-05-09 04:29:00 | Speedy, have uploaded "Modem Country Code" shot. In the old days Print/Scr used to print to printer, shows up my age a bit. That's our baby granddaughter in the background. The list of Countries on the Modem does not cater for Australasia and is shown as USA. Using Bitware software and it fails to auto detect com port. Are the modem drivers saved anywhere, if I decide to delete one of the two from Device Manager. Thanks again. Lurking. |

| 451948 | 2006-05-09 05:27:00 | Speedy, Argentina Boliva Brazil Canada Chile China colombia Dominican Republic El Salvador Guatamela Haiti Honduras Hong Kong India Japan Malaysia Mexico Panama Paraquay Peru Singapore Taiwan Uruquay USA Venezuela Very limited, this is where IBM gets most of it's manufacturing done, seeing this is an IBM machine. India is their telecommunications source now. Try that eh!. Also thanks to Robo, I was cutting corners Speedy, I should have embedded the link. Regards, Lurking. Ps. Will get rid of the USA modem and see what happens. Bitware was no problems on the General for 10 year. lurks. |

| 451949 | 2006-05-09 05:33:00 | If it doesnt have NZ in it. Dont select another country as it says in the pic. We have to figure out what the modem is if bitware doesnt like it either. Or there maybe a later version of the drivers (which may have NZ in them) if we can find out what brand/model the modem is. |

| 451951 | 2006-05-11 00:08:00 | Speedy, good morning. Here is the link to modem description: www.imagef1.net.nz I highlight it and right click and Yahoo takes me over to the link. Whoever put Yahoo toolbar on this machine has given some good options. Have disabled either/or of the 2 modems listed but still no faxability. Seem to need both of them otherwise there is no connection to the Net. Both driver dates are 3-16-2000 yanky dating of course, but there is a later version on Google for 2001. Lurking. Ps. Here is another query, why does a reply screen that is dropped down to the taskbar, when you go to My Computer to look something up, get wiped all together. Nothing under history. lurks. |
