There are methods for getting around it, but haven't tried any so don't know how effective they are. I'd suggest googling for "Bypass starforce" |

| 451783 | 2006-05-05 06:34:00 | Don't buy them? But what if the game is good? Plus inserting the CD into CD-ROM will sure scratch the CD right? Wrong! Get real MT, inserting the CD won't scratch it, leaving it lying around in amongst all your junk does that. Take it out of the case, use it, return it to the case. How hard is that to do? Sounds to me like we might be dealing with a pirated/cracked version here, why else wouldn't it work if you just put the CD in the drive? Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 451784 | 2006-05-05 06:44:00 | Pirated game? How many times do I need to say that? I got more than 10 PC Games on my comp and I'm too lazy to insert and take out the PC game CD to play all those games. I have NFS HP2 Requires CD but managed to run it without CD, Midtown Madness, Midtown Madness 2, Age of Empires III, NFS-Most Wanted, JUICED, The Sims 2 + All availble expansion packs, Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Siege II, Crashday (2006), Evolution GT (2006) got it from Europe by friend posting me the DVD (Real One) and managed to run without DVD, Ford Street Racing (2006) managed to get the Crack and many more other games like old ones AOE 1 and etc. All run with no CD/DVD. Then ask me to insert all these different kind of CD to play different kind of games? |

| 451786 | 2006-05-05 06:54:00 | If you say I running pirated games and where do you get full version games for free? I don't see where can you download it except demo for free. | MTLance (6768) | ||

And only one game doesn't work without the CD? That is the weakest argument I have ever heard, and I've heard some so weak that they needed resuscitation before they could struggle out into the light of day. My heart bleeds for you. :groan: Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 451788 | 2006-05-05 07:06:00 | CD-Reading is freaking dam slowww. Oh well, I play with CD for a little while, but next time I need to check games with StarForce or not. I will contact the CD crackers very soon for news. | MTLance (6768) | ||
| 451789 | 2006-05-05 07:28:00 | Did any one know that I'm using very slow CD-Rom? It was built in 1997. I got an extrenal DVD Reader but belongs to my parents. | MTLance (6768) | ||
| 451790 | 2006-05-05 07:58:00 | Yes it is complete drivel. The games only do a CD check when you first launch it. IT doesn't then access the CD again. So whats the drivel you mentioned about CD Reading being slow? And as for how many games are on your PC, so? You only play them one at a time - tell me how you play several at once? Everyone uses this excuse, its been heard a thousand times. |
