| 452592 | 2006-05-06 05:40:00 | Has anyone encountered problems with Avantrix sytem backup. Mine was a downloaded version which operated correctly up to the point of actually writing to a DVD. At that point the screen froze and the only way to exit was to switch off. The DVD drive gave every indication of working correctly but nothing was being written. Avantrix have not been able to resolve the problem as yet. | chine (2506) | ||

| 452594 | 2006-05-07 00:31:00 | Hi James, Yes I tried that. i've been in contact with the AVANTRIX tech team but so far they have not solved the problem. I thought it might be a sluggish DVD writer but it works perfectly well with other programmes. Chris |

| 452595 | 2006-05-07 04:00:00 | Can the backup software detect the DVD Drive? Burning DVDs or even CDs might require a lot of CPU power and free memory. Try quitting unnecessary programs prior backing up your data into the DVD. If you can, post us your computer configuration as well. Cheers :) |
