| 452949 | 2006-05-27 00:58:00 | Thats all fine and dandy, its removed them all now... Tried re-mapping with net use z: \\192.168.0.7\external After asking for a username (to which I just pressed Enter) it said: System error 1223 has occurred. The operation was cenceled by the user. Sooo... One thing that I _did_ notice was that in My Computer all the drives WERE showing the "connected" icon as opposed to with the "x" to say it couldnt re-connect?! Odd indeed! You could try entering the 'nobody' user (for the linux box) and no password, rather than just hitting enter. Then see what it does. Perhaps WinXP feels it has to supply credentials, even if not needed. Weird. |
