| 453266 | 2006-05-08 10:11:00 | Error in Registry "Exchange extension" ? THE syntax or format of the registry entry is incorrect. Check & compare the registry to other settings in the registry... IN layman language when I open my text files I get a blank page but when I RIGHT CLICK the file and open in word documents all is O K. ;) But how may I change to opening in a word document for all text files? PLEASE GUIDE ME SLOWLY> |

| 453268 | 2006-05-08 10:25:00 | Is this two separate problems? Do you get the Registry error message when using Outlook (not Outlook Express)? When you right-click on your text (Word documents?) files, are you selecting the Word program from a list, or just selecting "Open" in general? |

| 453270 | 2006-05-09 09:10:00 | When you choose to open the document with Word, there should be an option to tick "always open with this program". Select that next time and then see if you can open the Word documents normally. Seeing as you do use Outlook, have a look at the links Speedy provided about the registry error and see if either match what triggers your error. |
