| 452994 | 2006-05-07 13:04:00 | recently, i am getting a error msg after the welcome screen "Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator. DETAIL - Error performing inpage operation. " after this i get load into a temporary profile with diffrent desktop and settings. How do i get my old profile with desktop and settings back. plz help |

Press the "Start button. Select "My Computer" Under Hard Disk Drives highlight the disk which you want to scan. Open the "File" menu and choose "Properties" Open the "Tools" tab.
