452798 2006-05-06 23:32:00 After my PC comes out of Standby Mode, I get a splash screen telling me how many programs are running, along with my user name. I have to press Enter to get to the desktop. This is pointless. I am the only one using the 'puter, with no passwords. How do I get rid of this splash screen so that the desktop shows after Standby? Control Panel > Administrative Tools???? 452800 2006-05-06 23:53:00 Before I reformmated the HD, {unless I am dreaming} it came out of Standby straight to the desktop but I cannot recall how I did it. Strommer (42)
452801 2006-05-07 00:08:00 Ah I maybe wrong. Try power options in control panel / advanced.

The 2nd option?? prompt for pw when computer resumes from standby?
