453468 2006-05-09 12:12:00 Hey there!
I'm new at this forums and I came to it because I can't find anyone else that can help me out until now. Hopefully some of you guys can. Anyway:

I have Powerproducer 2 Gold, which came with my LG DVD Burner. I've tried to burn some video files I have into a DVD so I can see them on my DVD player, and everything has been working fine with the program until I try to burn it. The process get's stuck at 1% for hours and it just doesn't do anything. I tried reinstalling many times but it's still the same. Any suggestions?

Thx a lot in advance!

453469 2006-05-09 14:15:00 Have you tried getting PowerProducer to generate you the DVD files / structure to a folder on your HDD and then using another application to actually do the final burn?

What speed are you trying to burn it at? Does the status tell you anything about what its doing, like writing lead-in?

Welcome to the forums :)

Chill.

Well, the problem isn't the burning actually, it doesn't even get to burn, but at (I have the spanish version so roughly translated) 'creation and organisation of folders' it gets stuck on 1%. That's the upper bar. The lower bar with 'burning process' is still at 0% and it says on the bottom 'burning titles'.

And I tried to save the DVD on my hard drive but it's the same problem.

I hope it's clear enough now. Thx anyway for the reply

453471 2006-05-09 22:04:00 Can the software export the DVD as a .ISO image? Chilling_Silence (9)
453472 2006-05-09 22:14:00 Sadly, it can't.

Anyway, I think I've found something key of the problem. I'm trying to burn various video files into one DVD, a movie and 3 short music videos. Of course, the most important to me is the movie, but I put in the music videos so I use the space left well.

Anyway, when I removed the movie from the project and only tried to create the DVD for the music videos it worked perfectly fine. The movie is in MPEG. The images of the movie showed on windows media player, but didn't on powerproducer. So I downloaded a codec now so the images do play on powerproducer, but it's still not working.

This is really weird...

453473 2006-12-25 01:19:00 Default Powerproducer2 gold need help
I've read the other posts. Helpful to a point. I'm trying to asssemble an actor's reel from student DVDs. I've been able to download the material and make clips and used the split feature to get clean cuts. Also made a slideshow with music for the introduction. Now I'm stuck. I don't know how to create a playlist. I know there is supposed to be an icon that looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing up from its upper right corner, and this is to select the clips into the playlist. Where do I find that icon? Where is the playlist? Do I have to load a blank DVD and start the burn process to make this happen?

453474 2006-12-25 07:39:00 I take it from the posts on this forum that there is no "How to" manual with the software?

Edit: I have just seen the price of it on the website. Im included to think that including a How to manual might be asking a bit much.

453475 2006-12-25 20:57:00 Hi Doug,

Id suggest using DVDShrink for that, it'll do just what you're after ;)
