| 454470 | 2006-05-12 10:51:00 | Hi all, I have been given instructions by HP to assist with the fixing of my printer. However, the guy who sent them has assumed I'm a registry editing genius....... which I'm not..... Can anyone help me with the following instructions: Remove portions of the following keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Hewlett-Packard\DigitalImaging\ >>Do I just delete the above corresponding folder (there are a host of other folders within this one)? HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Hewlett-Packard\DigitalImaging\ >>Same as above applies here? HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\Software\Hewlett-Packard\DigitalImaging\CUE Settings\0000 >>The "CUE Settings" is a folder but I'm not sure what the 0000 reference refers to..... Any ideas anyone? HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1558157401-3891690265-1853988882-1003\Software\Hewlett-Packard\DigitalImaging\[/size] >>Again, another folder with a nother few enclosed. Do I just delete this folder? Thanks heaps in advance for any light that can be shed! Cheers Craig. :D |

You could reinstal but that may still leave the keys that are causing the problem. Suggest go back to HP for clarification.Suggest also advise Win system and Printer model in case someone else on this Forum has had this problem. | FrankS (257) | ||
