454393 2006-05-12 06:59:00 ok i was just sitting around, playing world of warcraft. all of a sudden, the power in my room flickers, and comes back on. the clock remained set and my tv turned back on with the playstation game paused, just where i left it. everything was normal except my computer didnt turn back on.

as i turn it back on, i get a error pop up at the bottom right. i use the Linksys wireless adapter. it said limited or no connectivity. the little green lights on the router are blinking. i tried all kinds of things such as renewing my ip, and even reformating. the wierd thing is, i get on my dads laptop which is feeding off the router(which im using to type this message) and his internet works great. my internet modem shows its online and everything. what could be going on? i have comcast cable. im a total computer newb, sorry. dont know my specs, just a custom comp i had a friend peice together for me. i just use it for gaming. i use windows xp. please help guys. i feel like all my money is wasted, cant even get online \ :(

 reformatting your computer???!!!, you don’t need to do that!!!!, that’s overkill!

I think you have a just network problem.

Have you tried restarting your computer??? As some times your computer just needs to be restarted after a power cut to gets things back to normal.

Hope to her from you soon :)
