| 453879 | 2006-05-10 22:31:00 | Hello, I been thinking about it, im pretty this is how the internet network is run(correct me if im wrong) I have my modem, which goes thru the phone line to ''the exchange'' which takes a direct line to some huge antenna, right? So, is this ''exchange'' that green box on the side of the street we see which is about 3ft tall and about 1.5ft wide? if so, please tell me, id like to know more about this. |

| 453884 | 2006-05-11 01:32:00 | You can adjust it at your end, The speed of the internet is goverened by the size of the pipe feeding into your rig, And as we all know heat causes expansion, so simply take a hair drier and point the hot end at your modem, This will cause the internal pipe to expand, creating more room for the data to travel in,more data equals faster internet. You may need to rig up a stand to hold the hair drier in place for extended periods but you will find that downloads will be much faster then before, and lag disapears from online games. | Metla (12) | ||
