| 453855 | 2006-05-10 11:10:00 | Hi All I want to move my full operating system (including programs etc) to a new (smaller) hard drive -- i plan to install the larger hard drive into my file server and replace a small one that is in it at the moment. The amount of data on the larger drive is only 10GB the drive is 60GB. Any suggestions? Cheers |

There is a freebie drive image program - cannot recall the name but do a Google search or PF1 search for my post on this - actually not a freebie but you can use it for 30 days. |

I have only used it for cloning up to 10mb hdds but I find it very reliable for cloning either my whole hdd or a partition. I have also used the Samsung equivalent when cloning Samsung to Samsung Hdds. | worl (8599) | ||
