454704 2006-05-13 23:49:00 Hey looking at getting a new PC (for home use) – the old one now three years old!
(Int2.8 Mhz, RAM – 1 Gig, Graphics Card-L.TEK A180 TDH My VIVO GeForce 4 HD1-80Gig, HD2-250Gig). Use Pinnacle Studio for video editing.
Appreciate any suggestions for specs for a new one – and where from!
Many thanks

454705 2006-05-14 00:40:00 All depends on what you are going to use it for, personally I prefer AMD to Intel. What graphics card, GeForce 4 is a bit vague.... pctek (84)
454706 2006-05-14 00:44:00 As pctek said, what are you going to be using it for?

Only video editing?

We ask this because it is pointless suggesting a kick ass system if you are only going to be checking E-Mail and surfing the net...

and I also prefer AMD over Intel and nVidia over ATI :D

454707 2006-05-14 02:40:00 Thanks - why AMD? Yes use for video editing - Corel Draw - just want a grunty system. Don't require screen, keyboard or mouse.
Thanks

The graphics card appears to be a Leadtek (Winfast) A180 TDH.
Somewhat lacking I think.
