| 454533 | 2006-05-13 04:01:00 | Hi Team I need to convert some classical music tracks from MP3 to CD audio. Does anybody know of or recommend a reliable freeware programme to do this? It is pretty much a once-off need to help my daughter practise some music for a coming performance so I don't wamt to go buying anything. I thought Roxio Easy CD creator might do it, but I can't see any reference in their manual. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

I know because I have used both programs for converting MP3s to CD.Trevor :) Well, I now see that WMP can convert MP3 to CDA and burn it to CD via Roxio CD Creator, but there is no way I can find to transfer the MP3 files to the playlist for burning. WMP seems to want to look no further than its own preset folders and doesn't offer a browse function. If I can't get my files into the playlist, I can't burn them! I have Nero around somewhere and could try that, but I'll look at cdex next. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 454540 | 2006-05-14 05:11:00 | I have always used Nero. It is as simple as selecting Create a Music CD then dragging and dropping the files from one side of the window to the other then burning. Just remember to burn the CD at a slow speed to ensure maximum compatibility with what you intend to play them on. |

Under what circumstances might I need a plug-in, and the reference to GF has me scratching my head. GF hasn't posted in this thread, so what's the connection? Cheers Billy 8-{) |
