I can log on (example trademe) in the other OS but use the same username and password in XND and get password incorrect.Have checked in Firefox and saved passwords are the same as the one used in the other OS.This appears to be accross the board for all sites and for manual entry too.Have checked guarddog and settings appear correct. |

Mind you, a few weeks ago, I was having all sorts of problems with only one site under Xandros and that, unfortunately, was http://forums.xandros.com You might have noticed quite a few postings to the thread on that forum under the heading "Is anyone else having trouble logging on to the forum?" At that time, I could access under Windows from school, via Knoppix from home (live CD very slow) but not from Xandros itself. It turned out to be a fault in their server in Toronto which was fixed by a visit from someone from their own ISP. My user name on that forum is "jimwilk" and I have seen the odd posting from you there. We are grandchildren watching at present on Kapiti Coast so do not have access to Xandros OS - just, unfortunately, Windows. Jim :D |
