| 454931 | 2006-05-15 04:09:00 | I need some advice/help on my pc as it is always showing the blue screen of death(stop errors) I cant load windows to a stable state anymore...if windows sometimes loads it stay on for about 10 secs and then crash again and to be shown with a stop error win32k.sys....irq not less or equal...machine check etc....I sense that it must be the graphics card but not too sure....On POST I saw that the drives are ok...but cant come around the problem...It is driving me insane as I cant use it anymore.... I cant also start up in safe mode...if pc loads it only crashes again even in safe mode...sometimes the start up screen(windows logo and animated bar) will just freeze and no activity....I even try to re install windows but always crashes and I dont have an ASR floppy disk... I really miss using my pc and any help/suggestions please....Thanx in advance.... |

| 454935 | 2006-05-15 05:03:00 | Do you know anyone else with a PCI-E video card? If you do, try to talk them into letting you borrow it, or take your computer over to their place & test your system with their video card, then give it back once you know if your video card was faulty or not. | Greven (91) | ||
| 454936 | 2006-05-16 04:24:00 | Thanx for those advice as you guys see I dont have home pc anymore and is using public pc at the moment so cant do a hijack this...(btw how can i do hijack this when pc dont even load up in a stable condition?) and also recently I was shown with a stop error for ntfs.sys Im afraid this might show that my file system maybe corrupted...I feel its got to be the graphics card that make this problem as last time when I check in safe mode it shows (!) beside it on device manager....My mates all got laptops and no pc so cant borrow their cards...I might as well save up for another pci express video card but has to be under $500.... Im dreading that this crash was due to me installing windows media center and uninstall it again but forgot to back up....:( |
