The Long(ish/er) one is that there is some extra stuff, which makes your computer into a Media Center, there is a program with a nice (well kinda) user interface which is easy to use and control from your loungeroom sofa. If you dont have a media center capable tv tuner or a media center remote controll then there is not much use for it, and if you dont plan to use your computer in your lounge you dont need it. | 455344 | 2006-05-16 10:08:00 | Media Edition has another GUI interface for use with a remote control, but can be switched to normal for everyday PC operation. More Audio/Viisual codex with add-in media PCI cards such as TV cards and ablitly to record to hard drive, though with same hardware can also be done on normal pc's. I think mainly the remote interface for use in lounges etc and it abilitly to hook into TV guides etc for interaction with streaming media. |
