455232 2006-05-16 05:30:00 Google Earth – where does it store your personal Placemarks?! Just would like to copy them to another PC. Have done both a Windows search and Copernic and can’t trace anything.
Appreciate any help
Thanks

455233 2006-05-16 05:43:00 On a Mac the settings are stored in: Users/username/Library/Application Support/Google Earth/myplaces.kml which probably doesn't help you all that much, but if the file name is the same in Windows, a search for myplaces.kml should send you to the right place. :) maccrazy (6741)

Hope this works for you.

XP search is a PITA as it won't find stuff buried under docs and settings. This can really lead you astray.
