I want to get a USB TV Tuner box, like this: www.hauppauge.com and connect it to my wireless router so I can pick up the encoded TV signal on any PC on the network - has anyone done this? Seems like a good idea to me - means I can watch TV on my laptop whereever I am in the house, or around about. |

Your wireless router only has intelligence as a router, not as the driver for the USB tuner. Not sure that there is an easy solution to what you want, commercially available. |

"video server" will mostly give expensive systems used for surveillance. The sourceforge.net site might have some projects for this. | Graham L (2) | ||
