| 1402304 | 2015-06-10 00:03:00 | Thinking of getting a tablet advice please probably Galaxy tab 8.4 just to surf & email and something the wife could use as she has got my old phone Galaxy S2 which she uses for Facebook,messenger txt and email. Don't really want to go to big ie 10.4 I have a Toshiba L650 win 7 which is main PC about 7 years old and Desktop win 8.1. I guess a $450 Samsung would be quite quick for general stuff not interested in camera on this one I have an LG G2 phone which I like. Would consider a Ipad mini cheapest one as I think they are over priced! Don't want to start a apple v android war here just curious last apple product I had was an itouch which served a purpose at the time. |

| 1402305 | 2015-06-10 00:11:00 | If you're looking at tablets in the ~450 range, I'd recommend Tab S 8.4 - NOT the Galaxy Tab 8.4, or the LG Gpad 8.3 (Can be picked up pretty cheaply from MobiCity or the like). Alternatively, the iPad Mini 2 models offer pretty great value, $450 for the 16gb version, and $520 for the 32gb version. |

| 1402311 | 2015-06-17 04:47:00 | I don't like screen protectors so I don't use them. It's a personal choice, same with covers. My Phone and tablet have gorilla glass and I've never managed to scratch either of them and I'm not particularly careful. I was going to suggest a nexus 9 but thought it was a bit more than you were considering spending. Too late now :) I'm sure the Samsung is a great table though. |
