| 1402300 | 2015-06-09 10:59:00 | I belong to the committee of an society that is going to be taken over by another organisation. Our society has a URL and web site that scores highly in Google searches and we believe the URL should be purchased by the other organisation. The question is: how do we decide what is a fair price? Any advise of where to look for further information or how to work it out would be appreciated. Thank you. :) |

(www.wordstream.com)). Does it rank in mobile searches? What's the traffic levels and from what sources? (Organic referals, social media, natural inbound, links, citations, mentions?). What is the bounce rate, average time on site? top landing pages? How does the site rank with the level and type of of competition online? What's the conversion rate (if any) and how is it defined? Also what's the backlink strenth and is it diverse, with links from trustworthy, authorative sources? What's the domain strength? I assume you are using Google Analytics, Keyword planner, and Webmaster Tools (rebranded to Google Search Console ) to help evaluate some of these factors. MOZ (goo.gl) has useful tools to help evaluate the authority strength, social and organic profile, trust flow, backlink strength, etc of the website. Common and current best SEO/marketing online tools described here. (searchengineland.com) These will help gauge how useful/relevant/trustworthy/authorative the site is, and to perhaps help determine the value of the site. |
