Any form of networked printer can be printed to wirelessly, whether it's connected to a networked PC and shared, using wi-fi, hosted off a usb port on a router, using a print server, or in my case connected directly to the router via ethernet. As long as there is a wireless access point or router in the network of course. All it needs is to be set up correctly. I believe some printers allow a direct wi-fi connection for printing without a wireless network which might be what was meant. |
