Generally, no, because iPad apps are re designed in layout and a few other things to run on the iPad rather than the iPhone. If kiwibank is having browser issues on Safari and doesn't have an iPad version of the app it would be in their best interests to fix that problem and keep their customers loyal and happy. It also helps if their customers alert them to the problem so that they can do something about it.

LLas stated, this is a iPhone app, not native for iPad.

1402553 2015-06-14 21:34:00 I think you need to actually try contacting them rather than just assuming they are useless

I'm quite sure if you had run the customer support line, explained your problem you would have been put thru to a technical person.

It would have taken then all of 5 seconds to browse to their own website from their iPad and see the same problem that you had :)

You may be correct - that it is a Kiwibank stuff up rather than an Apple one. I like your touching faith in the ability of a single individual to a) find the right person in a large organisation to talk to, and b) persuade them that they have stuffed up! ;-)

However, regarding the app, this is very odd. If I search for Kiwibank (using the iPad App Store) under 'iPad Only', there is nothing listed. Following your post, I searched again under 'iPad Only' with the same result. However when I searched under 'iPhone Only', your app came up, and I seem to have successfully installed it - on an iPad. Go figure. Why does it not show up as an iPad app? Is this the modern way to find apps, by searching under a device you are not using?
