| 1402409 | 2015-06-10 10:40:00 | I saw the blue tile with a white envelope with a blue flap. Is this the one you mean? When I open it , it appears to be Hotmail!!! PJHotmail, Live mail, Outlook.com, Outlook.co.nz = All the same thing now on the web based version. | wainuitech (129) | ||

| 1402415 | 2015-06-11 01:21:00 | I use live mail and am happy with it but have you tried the "metro" style E-mail? You may hate it even more but you already have it so if you haven't tried it you may as well. Usually to be found on the start screen, a blue tile with an envelope icon. If it's not there just type mail on the start screen and that should find it. Can you tell me more about that "metro" you mentioned? PJ |

| 1402416 | 2015-06-11 01:28:00 | Metro is what MS originally called the new tile based start screen and full screen apps in windows 8 until someone sued them and made them stop using the name, now nobody really knows what to call them which is why I used speech marks. It just refers to the new apps that come bundled with windows 8 & 10 and in the app store. The mail program that comes with 8 is one of those apps, uses larger fonts, a full screen bordeless display, and is designed to play nice with tablets and touchscreens. Still, it's easy enough to use and might suit some people. |
