| 1390426 | 2014-12-18 20:38:00 | I had a 22 air rifle many many years ago. Even though it was slightly more powerfull the the 177 of the same brand, it was terrible. Just not enough grunt to push that bigger, heavier pellet (with double the air resistance??). So if going 22 , make sure its a much more powerfull version . |

| 1390428 | 2014-12-19 04:50:00 | The big advantage of an air gun is that's its not a firearm. Thats why you can use inside 30mph zones (built up areas). Have one at home get it out at pissups and give a few empty cans an honorable death. Another thing I get out is my can canon, made of mt baked bean tins duct taped together with the last 2 the ends cut in half. Use lighter fluid and mt beer cans. Also we dry ice from BOC and put in empty goffa bottles and throw as a bomb. | prefect (6291) | ||
| 1390429 | 2014-12-19 06:34:00 | The big advantage of an air gun is that's its not a firearm. very very wrong. legally they are a firearm. the low powered ones don't requite a firearms license to have one, but do have to be old enough. also if you have your firearms license confiscated, you are not allowed to use air guns. even tho people with no license can. there is no limitation for using firearms in built up areas ie no 30mph zone or 200 yards from house etc. that all went out the window over 30 years ago. |
