| 1390756 | 2014-12-22 20:59:00 | I saw the first major performance of Joe's "With A Little Help From My Friends" at the Royal Albert Hall way back in 1967 or 68, can't remember, I was on holiday in London, England on June/July University Holidays from Durban, Natal South Africa. Also on the same night, same show were about 50 well-known, or soon to be well-known, contemporary artistes including, Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, The Move, The Byrds, Joe Cocker, Marmalade, and many more I can't bring to mind, best show I ever saw, before or since and all for 5 pounds. My parents paid for my sister and I to go, we were 15 and 19 years old at the time. A life changing experience. Bye Joe. |
