What does it mean,internal?
Internal means it is installed in your computer case, usually underneath or above the floppy drive. My case has only one bay for a drive the size of the floppy drive so I had to get a drive convertor to fit my card reader into a hard drive sized bay otherwise the floppy drive had to stay out of the PC, which I didn't want.

External means just that - it sits on your desk or wherever, and is portable, ie can be used on other PCs, unlike an internal.

I'm not sure what memory card your camera uses but think it may be one of the odd ones so that reader may not support it. As I said before, make sure you check first. If it is like Beetle's one then there are only a few that can read that type.

Where the floppy usually goes.

Thats where an internal card reader goes.

And the white slot u see at the end of Apacer, is a spare USB port.

The memory card is the same as yours,I have a S5600 the same as you.
I think I fancy a reader that is not internal.
What do you think?

You connect the reader, (whether internal or external) .

Use the memory card on whatever (cam, MP3 player etc), chuck it in the reader, it reads it / opens a folder . You copy the file / whatever) .

Then u can edit whatever file .

Then take the memory card out .

Just make sure you wait for it to finish reading / copying before you take the memory card out of the reader . Otherwise, you'll corrupt the card .

And it'll be unreadable . And you'll have to buy another memory card .
