456150 2006-05-19 23:20:00 I shut down everything, even antivirus! Just the firewall was connecting the internet and NetMeter still showed 6 KB/s. Is there something wrong with the way NetMeter works, do you think?

Is there another traffic monitoring utility that might be better? I would like one that can shut down the PC or stop the internet connection after reaching a preset traffic limit.

456151 2006-05-20 03:47:00 shutdown everything or block everthing?

just block everything from accessing the network (including lan) and that includes the firewall itself.
