| 455940 | 2006-05-20 04:01:00 | It's unlikely that any device would use IRQ12 (which is assigned to the PS/2 mouse . . . inherited from the "bus mouse") . It would be like someone using IRQ1 . Are you quite sure you used the right socket, Susan? :D The keyboard and mouse PS/2 sockets are not interchangeable . The pinouts are the same, so there's no damage to either end, but the data ports and protocols are different . I assumed that Susan's keyboard and mouse would have been the very latest and best, using USB ;) . The three P2 servers I picked up yesterday all had USB ports . |
