| 456538 | 2006-05-21 03:14:00 | To help a friend, I need a replacement power supply for a DELL DIMENSION 4550 Unlike many Dells, this suply has the standard ATX and P4 connectors but the physical layout is a little different. It is running open on a generic Hyena supply but looking at the back of the computer, while most ATX supplies have the AC input socket on the Top Right, this one is reversed and the socket is on the TOP LEFT I could fit the Hyena with some metal surgery, but if I can find one that would fit, I would prefer this option Does anyone know of a source in NZ for a supply with the Dell layout |

| 456539 | 2006-05-21 04:31:00 | i think they are micro ATX psu's. the problem is find one big enough as there is not many 300watt+ ones around. i had the same problem, fortunatly i had an aopen atx psu that fitted without surgery. good luck in finding one that fits. | tweak'e (69) | ||
