456406 2006-05-20 05:28:00 I am having problems getting my dvd/cd drive to work, when i d/click the cdrom icon the icon gloes blue, it opens up the next page but the page is empty.and stays like it.
i have been in Device manager, d/click dvd/cd rom, properties -it says this device is working
roperly and it is enabled, It also has 4 lots of system 32 drivers,
Then i went down to Sound, vidoe and game controllers, they all say they working properly but most of them are not enabled, down the bottom of each device properties.
i would sure appreciate some help please

456407 2006-05-20 05:57:00 Hello there. Does this apply to all CDs and DVDs? Are you sure those discs are functioning well? Blue icon? Can you please elaborate more on this icon - I am not sure if I fully understand what do you mean by that? Have you tried refreshing the empty page (press F5)? What's your computer / laptop's OS?

Cheers :)

456408 2006-05-20 06:14:00 Hi James and thanks for your reply,
Yes it applies to dvd's/ cd's, when i d/click the cdrom icon it goes blue and a little disc appears then but thats as far as it gets, the hour glass just stays stagnent.
I am running XP sp2, as i go through the devices under sound, video and game controllers, most of them are not enabled ???? i would say thats its something to do with that but how can i enable them ?
thanks
