| 457271 | 2006-05-24 05:35:00 | I subscribe to the Timaru public library, but am having trouble logging into the customer enquiry page (where I can check the books I have on loan and extend the return date). When I enter my subscriber ID and PIN, I am flicked to the US Census Bureau Gazetteer. This is not the first time that this has happened, last year I was consistently taken to an Australian website. I understand that I am among several other local subscribers who experience a similar problem, but neither the library, the Council's IT staff, not their software manufacturer, Spydus or Civica can offer any explanation or a resolution. The IT staff suggest 'hijacking' software, but I running Zone Alarm Internet Security Pro and this does not report anything untoward. This does not happen with any other website that I use. I wonder if anyone has any ideas...? |
