457840 2006-05-26 05:29:00 I hope you've got ADSL if u want to download SP2 . (If you're talking about XP) .

Download here ( . microsoft . com/downloads/details . aspx?FamilyID=049c9dbe-3b8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a&DisplayLang=en" target="_blank">www . microsoft . com)

Or you can order it, or you could go to your local MS Office, if you have one .

Ask for the SP2 CD .

Also, MAKE SURE your system is free of any Spyware/malware etc .

Or you'll never get into Windows, once SP2 has been installed .

SP2 is fussy about Spyware etc . . .

457845 2006-05-26 05:56:00 the link works ok. if it dosn't work there is a possibility that your infected. some infections put entries into the host file to stop you accessing MS sites and antivirus sites.

ask around, someone may have it on disk. much easier than downloading it.

make sure system is totally virus and spyware free. then uninstall your antivirus and firewall before upgrading to SP2. after upgrade reinstall your antivirus and firewall.

ZA may have turned its service off . Go to control panel / admin tools / services .

Look for the Truevector entry . Double click on it . See if its disabled/off .

If its off, click on start . I cant remember whats in here now . I no longer use ZA .
