2006-05-25 08:04:00 | Hey people :) I have just had to reinstall and after installing all divers (including the NF4 Ethernet ones) I go into the network connections and there are 3 connections, nothing unusual there BUT one of them is called Local Area Connection 2 Microsoft TV/ Video Connection I am not sure where this comes from but the IP is 0.1.0.4  AND there is no NF4 Ethernet connection, I look in device manager and there is a "!" beside the NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller, Windows says it can't load the drvers for it, when I try updating the drivers it says they can't be found and I have installed them multiple times from the MOBO CD and even DLed some newer ones... Please :help: My network is down :waughh:

2006-05-25 08:21:00 | The TV connection maybe a TV tuner? Once you reboot, it should go away. I'm pretty sure I got the same icon when I reformatted with the tuner in this. Does this mobo support NV firewall?? I wonder if thats what that ! is talking about. Does the normal LAN/NIC work? What does it say when u click on the !? Whats it say under the general tab?

2006-05-25 10:42:00 | Yes, there is a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350... And it has gone... Yes it does, it gets installed, usually (didn't this time(s)) with the NF4 Ethernet drivers... There are 2 Gigabit LAN ports, so I am using the other one... Device Status: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. | 457618 | 2006-05-25 11:22:00 | Have u installed the motherboard drivers, as well?? If you have, tried deleting that entry with the ! in it, and reboot. See if this fixes it. There's nothing else in device manager with a ? beside it is there? And I take it both NICS have been enabled in the BIOS (if there's 2 entries in the BIOS)?

2006-05-25 11:27:00 | That was the first thing I done after installing Windows :p No, I haven't, I will delete it tonight and see what happens when I turn on in the morning . . . Nope, that is the only thing . . . What does NICS stand for? the BIOS has not been touched since it was last working, but it is worth a look .

| 457621 | 2006-05-25 21:41:00 | Good to hear its working  That happens sometimes, when u do a format . It can also happen with USB and XP SP2 . If u notice that USB 2 isnt working, you delete the USB controller entries and reboot . And Windows should redetect and reinstall the drivers for them .
