| 457520 | 2006-05-25 02:33:00 | I have a broadband account with Slingshot (active as of Tuesday 23rd). I had a techie come out and do the necessary wiring and everything was working fine. Last night I unplugged the modem as I was moving the computer around. When I reconnected it to the line and computer I could no longer connect to the internet. I'm using a Dynalink ADSL2 (RTA1320) modem-router. I get a green light on the DSL and Ethernet lights but the PPP one is not lit. I have tried resetting it and reconfiguring and nothing seems to work. I can't get the PPP to come back on. Please I need your help. Slingshot helpdesk could not fix it. |

| 457522 | 2006-05-25 03:09:00 | Welcome to Press F1 A few thoughts: Have you rebooted both the computer and the modem, both off at the same time? Does the adsl light come on to tell you that the adsl carrier is present? Can you ping the modem from your computer. The manual will tell you the ip address. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
