458614 2006-05-29 00:13:00 As I said before. Australia has Data Caps as well. see here (my.bigpond.com). And I think Telecom's plans for NZ and cheaper than Telstra's Plans for Australia. At least we are in a better boat then the Ozzies. KiwiTT_NZ (233)
458615 2006-05-29 01:03:00 lol those plans are a rip off.
When i told my buddy who lives in america that we had capped data rates he didnt even know what i was talking about, then i explained what they were and he just fell over laughing...

458617 2006-05-29 03:42:00 In that case their internet is actually paid for by the Commies! US govt owes China the same amount as the Iraqi war has cost.

OMG your right!. (however keep in mind the money made from the stolen Oil is filtered through a private US company that was awarded the contract, as the government can't be seen to directly steel oil lol).

458619 2006-05-29 09:12:00 It's hell staying within my 20 gig limit every month - but that 80 gig plan Telstra Clear have looks a bit pricey. But at least I'm not on Telecom - those guys are back in the dark ages. Twelvevolts (5457)

There is also an article in the new zealand herald today also that says isps should get rid of bit cap soon and that there is more than enough capacity left in the southern cross cable to handle no having no bit caps on connections.
What was also interesting was it said apple itunes its not available in new zealand because we have data caps and that apple itunes won't open here because new zealand is already a very small market and people wouldn't be able to download as much as they want from itunes because they have data caps.
