You can only get 24mb if you are within 1km of the exchange

I thought Telecom had started rolloing out Fibre Optic cable to get better BB speeds, some time ago, now its not required. Though this has naught to do with current conditions of BB.

I was just waffling

I just want to say, the ratios of 80 people or more in some cases to 1 connection is what the REAL problem is, if they made it 25 to one connection, the internet would run sweet for all!

I am not sure I understand your logic or why you think this.

Why would Telecom increase contention ratio's to ridiculous levels if they had all this spare capacity just lying around doing nothing? (exchanges included). The answer is in there actions, there exchanges are overloaded and very much behind.

To further add to my point, some exchanges are fine with the current ratio's (good performance) and many are complete bollocks , so um yea I have to disagree 100%.
