458634 2006-05-29 03:30:00 Is Sygate (the firewall) working??

Try saving the favourites again to a folder, relogin back into Windows, under your username, and then import the favourites again?

Or open my computer (you might have to select view hidden files as well), go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Favorites

Copy whats in this folder. See if the links to whatever are here, and paste them here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Yourusername\Favorites?

They might appear in IE on your login then? Close IE first before u do this.

This doesnt have to startup on bootup

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TrojanScanner] C:\Program Files\Trojan Remover\Trjscan.exe

This can be disabled, by running trojan remover, and going to Options menu / select disable boot-time scan.

I dont think this has to be in startup either.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MoneyStartUp10.0] "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\Activation.exe" - Up to you, if u want to remove this entry as well.

The log looks fine to me.

458635 2006-05-29 06:21:00 Make sure your computer is completely OK first.

Go to here (forums.spybot.info) and follow the instructions.

Now open the new improved Spybot and Click TOOLS.
On the right hand side tick RESIDENT.
Click RESIDENT that has just appeared on the left side.
Tick SDHELPER
Tick TEATIMER

Close Spybot and reboot. At first the pop up boxes will be the proverbial pain in the .... but Spybot is just learning about your computer and wants. As time goes by these get less and less. Then when something tries to change your homepage or system, bang up comes the pop up and you know instantly.
Always read them carefully and just deny if you don't know what Spybot is telling you. Your troubles are over!!
