| 459321 | 2006-05-31 03:23:00 | I spent an hour this morning working my computer hard trying to see how hot it would get. The hottest I could get it was: M/B 30 CPU 34 GPU 42 (figures courtesy of Everest.) Checked also in Set UP and figures about the same. Should a computer run this cool? These figures are 10/20 degrees cooler than what I was getting with my old comp. Lian Li case Asus A8N-SLI M/B Athlon 64 x 2 4200+ CPU. Leadtech 7900GPU 256 megs Graphics |

| 459325 | 2006-05-31 08:19:00 | what sort of load did you put on the pc? ie what where you running? don't forget there is many factors into the temp reading that can make them look good or bad. |

| 459327 | 2006-05-31 08:49:00 | depends on the game. you may not be pushing the cpu etc to max often enough. last test i did on my pc was to run AV scan and spyware scan at the same time. check cpu usuage it was almost 100% al the time. i think temp only got up to 40. thank goodness new cpus run cooler than my old t'bird ever did! | tweak'e (69) | ||
