458998	2006-05-30 02:43:00	:help: First i have a sound error now and its on the motherboard! It says code error # 39 and has a question mark over it so i don't know what to do any suggestions would be great!! 458999	2006-05-30 02:59:00	Did you reformat recently?? If sound doesn't work in anything, it sounds like the soundcard drivers havent been installed. Altho it looks like a few worms delete sound files/folders. There's nothing nasty in that log. Altho, you can run HJT again, tick these entries and tick fix checked. Close browser/s first. 459001	2006-05-30 05:24:00	Umm log looks fine to me. I would install a firewall tho, since you're using a P2P program, Try deleting the soundcard entry or whatever has this code 39 error. And reboot. See if that fixes it.	Speedy Gonzales (78)

You could try PowerDVD, or DVD x Player, which will play any zone DVD . BUT, both of these aren't free . You have to pay for both of them . There are trial versions for these tho, but sooner, or later they'll run out . If you don't buy them . And the trial has some limited options in it . Yup, WMP 10 isnt the best thing for DVD . Unless you download codecs for it . (From where, I dont know, I dont use WMP 10 myself) . And even then, it may or may not play all DVD's . Good to hear the sound is back to normal :) I dont think u can get rid of WMP 10 completely, since its part of XP .	Speedy Gonzales (78)

If not even media player classic will render any of the mpegs then it would suggest they are not MPEG1 or MPEG2 as both formats are supported by mpc internaly, it will even play DVDs with no extra codecs... could they be mjpeg?
