| 458938 | 2006-05-29 22:58:00 | My wife recently bought a Canon Powershot A540 camera, and I am having trouble downloading pictures to my computer. I had been using USB1.1, as I was reluctant to upgrade, as I have only one PCI slot, and that was being used by my dial up modem needed when I went from win98se to winxp. I have lightly bitten the bullet, and installed USB2, and a D-Link USB external modem. All seems to work OK except that some photos, (about 5 of 271) have greyed out bands or coloured overlays of part of the picture. I have reinstalled the Canon camera software to no avail. Can anyone help? Brucem |
