459165 2006-05-30 14:15:00 Ok, quick question...

Is it possible to set a password on a printer that I have shared on a network? I am running XP Pro SP2. Have looked at a few sites, it says that in '9x/ME you can, but in XP its not available?

Now go to the properties of the printer you have shared and there should be a security tab now. In here you can set which users have access to the printer.
You will have to set up the users first in the Control Panel - User Accounts
