| 459766 | 2006-06-01 22:41:00 | Watcha All! So, I've built my 'media machine', got all the programs (TV prog came with the video tuner card, video editing program for @Stupidos [that'd be me], Freeview prog that came with my Freeview USB stick, er, etc.). I can record TV on it. I can even edit out the adverts fairly easily! Plus I know I can burn DVDs. BUT NOW............................... What format should I make these tv programs (oh alright, it's Corrie. Ok?) to put on a DVD so that it can play in a 'normal' DVD player? Ieg, not on a computer! Oh, and whilst you ponder that, what's best to get? DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-/+Whatever? Once again, my learned Peeps, many regards, and I await your ideas in anticipation (so I can get on and do the bloody thing!! {:o) The Cell :D |

| 459767 | 2006-06-01 23:44:00 | Shouldnt matter what u burn to . Most players SHOULD be able to play DVD+ or - . And if the burner is Dual Layer, and supports most formats, it shouldn't be a prob . Don't use DVDRW tho, if u want to play the DVD's in a standalone DVD player . Some players may not be able to play DVDRW . Well you should burn in DVD format, if whatever program you're using supports burning to DVD . I use Nerovision for burning most things to DVD . BUT, you may have to purchase a "plugin" serial to get the DVD option . (This serial is different from the Nero / Nerovision serial) . I havent got any other DVD burning programs installed, so cant tell u what they're like / or what they do . When i record from the tuner here, it saves them as MPEG2, (altho u can burn directly to DVD if u want to) And all I have to do, is use Nerovision, use the DVD option, and burn them to DVD . And there's your DVD . |
