459536 2006-06-04 07:51:00 I use AVG myself, but yes this poll is flawed with no Avast and Nod32. Battleneter (60)
459537 2006-06-04 09:59:00 Dam it, should I restart the polling system again? Some of them use Avast and Nod32. But McAfee is pretty good for me and with scanning the whole CPU heats up that's the problem. I'm using P4 3.0GHz Dual Core CPU. MTLance (6768)

459539 2006-06-04 10:03:00 I did know that, that's why I need people who choose other option to state what Anti-Virus they are using. MTLance (6768)

why? you said you wont use avg anyway, and it clearly is most popular especially since nod32 is sharing "others" with avast etc

and about vista, will you be getting a 512mb video card next year aswell? i wont be upgrading untill about a year after realease once most the bugs have been sorted out. and as for antivirus with vista, i'd again wait for MS to release all the security updates to save alot of possible strife (like the vista blaster worm if it happens)

and i do realise if everyone uses my logic then no-one will but and then noone will report bug so there wont be any bug fixes, but if you want to be a crash test dummy for microsoft (no pun intended), feel free to...

459543 2006-06-05 02:19:00 The Home version is free. The Pro version isnt.

The differences between them are here (www.avast.com)

About 9 differences.

459545 2006-06-05 02:29:00 About Vista, I don't think I'll be a geniue pig for Microsoft except Beta Vista users.:stare: Except they haven't test it with Beta version for users. MTLance (6768)
