The virus writers go for maximum impact from minimum effort. Linux/unix/mac don't have to be bulletproof to scare off virus writers - they just have to be harder to infect than windows. |

| 460023 | 2006-06-02 11:52:00 | Honestly, stop asking and start reading . :rolleyes: Ubuntu is a good desktop Linux, nice and easy . But there are plenty of other good ones . I wouldn't suggest installing it until you understand that Linux is not Windows and isn't even remotely similar once you get beyond the desktop GUI . |
