| 459480 | 2006-05-31 22:11:00 | Which anti-virus do you use? Does anyone use Panda anti-virus? Is there any better than other anti-viruses? I used to use panda but it's a recource hog and kept popping up unneeded messages, didn't get any viruses using it though. That guy has an annoying voice 'welcome to panda anti-virus' I just use AVG now, NOD32 is pretty good though |

I like how it scans incoming/outgoing email, scans files sent thru Mirc, and most of the IM programs available, and even scans files while they're downloading . And it also scans websites, as they're loading . It doesnt slow the system down, from what I've seen so far, and it automatically updates . I also noticed last week, it blocks things flying around the net (it blocked LSASS and DCOM attacks) . I use it along with Comodo Personal Firewall, which is a good firewall for a freebie . And this firewall is definitely free . No annoying nags to tell u its going to run out, and once u get the activation code, it and the updates are free for life . I've used most of the other AV programs, most of them were either too big, full of bloatware, cut me off, or detected viruses that didn't exist . |

| 459482 | 2006-05-31 22:56:00 | I use Pc-Cillin and have not had any real problems in the past i've used AVG (years ago now), which was hard to configure, but from what i hear it has improved heaps And Panda - which i really liked, but couldn't find an NZ distributor at the time |

| 459483 | 2006-05-31 23:09:00 | The poll is flawed, it doesn't have NOD32 as an option. Avast is also not there. MT Lance, when you set up a poll, do try to make truly representative of the products available, rather than to rely on the "Others" section. |
