| 460170 | 2006-06-03 09:28:00 | My daughters laptop (for school) had IE hijacked by 'securityuptodate' site. Following instructions to remove it I used msconfig to set the 'boot' to boot in safe mode and now her password does not work and there is no way I can get back into undo msconfig. The system is a Toshiba and comes with a recover CD but even with this in it will not boot anywhere except to the logon and from there I am stuck. Any advice welcome - please George |

| 460172 | 2006-06-03 21:31:00 | Try pressing ALT+CTRL+DEL twice. Then at the login prompt change the username to Administrator and no password. When it boots up ot asks you to use this key stroke combination then takes you to the logon screen, using the combination twice does nothing else. |
